Old Business:

We had no old business to discuss.

New Business:

We updated everyone on our upcoming June 14-16 Camping and Fishing Trip. We have room for many more, but Doug will drop one of the campsite reservations after this Friday if we don’t need it. Late responders might get shut out because the remaining site might be maxed out.

Smith River Fest and River Clean Up are still on and volunteers are needed. see Al about the Fest and Shane about Clean Up.

We did not hold a raffle because of low attendance.

We did show the beautiful framed print by renowned outdoor artist Brett Smith that we are raffling off.

Fly fishing print

100 tickets will be sold at $5 each. We will have the print at the Smith River Fest. We sold some tickets at the meeting. Don’t miss this opportunity!

Featured Presentation:

Mark Taylor, Outdoor Editor, columnist and blogger for the Roanoke Times was our speaker. He took a lengthy trip to Alaska last year and shared his travel thoughts, fishing exploits and wonderful pictures with us. The small crowd participated with many questions and comments. It was very interesting and we thank Mark for his generous time. The questions and answers continued well after the meeting had been adjourned.
