The Smith River Chapter of Trout Unlimited is dedicated to the preservation and sustainability of the trout fishery on the Smith River and its tributaries. We promote the mission of Trout Unlimited in the conservation and restoration of North Americas cold water fisheries, through education, conservation and outreach. We enjoy promoting and protecting our local rivers and streams and the endless, joyous pursuit of the elusive, wild, Smith River Brown Trout!

April 11 is the fly tying class. We need to know by April 1 who is attending. The cost is $15. It will be at the Philpott visitors. It wii begin at 9 am.

Also the SRTU trip to West Virginia is set for the last weekend in May. Thur may 28 till sunday May 31. We will leave around 9:00am on thurs. 28th and return the evening of Sunday 31st. we will be camping but cabins are available for rental. Please let B.J. Walker know if you are interested in going.
